Resin Driveways

Resin-bound driveways look sharp, drain freely and don't shed loose stone. The finish is only as good as what sits under it, so we treat the base as the real job and the resin coat as the finish.

Why us

30+ years on the tools across Surrey & Hampshire. Family-run, fully insured, no subcontracted crews.

Local factors we plan around

  • existing tarmac fronts that are sound enough to overlay, saving a full excavation
  • clay-heavy plots where the open-graded sub-base has to be deeper to stop resin lifting in frost
  • shaded, tree-lined frontages where a lighter aggregate keeps the front elevation from feeling closed in
  • period fronts where a natural quartz blend suits the brickwork better than a modern black tarmac look

Frequently asked questions

Is resin-bound the same as resin-bonded?
No - resin-bound is a fully permeable trowelled finish and is what we install. Resin-bonded is loose stone glued to a surface and it sheds over time - we don't offer it.
Can resin go over my existing driveway?
Yes, if the tarmac or concrete is sound and has proper drainage. If it's cracked or lifting, we rebuild the base first.
How long does it last?
A properly installed resin-bound drive holds up for 15-20 years with only an occasional pressure wash.
Does it stay looking clean?
It sheds water, doesn't hold weeds and stays lighter than tarmac; oil drips can be lifted with resin-safe cleaner.
Do I need planning permission?
Permeable resin-bound drains into its own sub-base, so it's normally permitted development. We confirm on the visit.
