Security Fencing

Security fencing is bought against a risk, not a look. Whether the driver is plant theft from a yard, unauthorised access to a substation compound, or a school safeguarding line, the specification starts with height, climb resistance and how the perimeter behaves at gates and corners. We survey the site, write the spec down, and install around your working hours so the compound is never left open overnight.

  • £5m public liability and £10m employers liability, CSCS-carded fitters, RAMS before mobilisation

Our process

  1. 01

    Site survey

Perimeter walked with your site or FM contact: threat, access routes, services and gate positions.

  2. 02

    Written spec

Mesh or palisade profile, height, foundations, toppings, gate hardware and programme, all in writing.

  3. 03

    Mobilisation

RAMS, insurance certificates and inductions issued before anyone arrives on site.

  4. 04

    Groundworks

Post holes augered or hand-dug near services, then concrete foundations poured and cured.

  5. 05

    Install and handover

Why us

30+ years on the tools across Surrey & Hampshire. Family-run, fully insured, no subcontracted crews.

Local factors we plan around

  • industrial estates around Farnborough and Aldershot where 2.4m weld mesh is the accepted perimeter standard
  • substation and utility compounds needing hand-dug post holes because of live buried cabling
  • school perimeters where installs have to be phased around term time and safeguarding rules
  • yards and depots on clay where post foundations need a wider collar to stay plumb through the first summer
  • car parks and retail service yards where the fence line has to keep vehicle access working throughout

Frequently asked questions

Weld mesh or palisade for a commercial yard?
Weld mesh 358 panels give the best climb resistance and clear sightlines through the fence, which suits CCTV-covered yards. Palisade is the tougher option against forced entry with tools and looks harder from the road, so it suits depots and merchants yards where deterrence matters more than visibility.
What height do most commercial sites go for?
2.4m is the common yard and industrial-unit standard. Substation compounds and high-risk storage usually move up to 2.9m or 3.0m with an anti-climb topping. School perimeters are typically 2.0m to 2.4m.
Can you install while the site stays open?
Yes. We phase the run so the perimeter is closed every night, use temporary heras across open sections, and work evenings or weekends where a live yard or a school term makes daytime access impossible.
What insurance do you carry?
£5m public liability and £10m employers liability. Certificates are issued with the RAMS pack before we mobilise, which is what most facilities managers and principal contractors ask for first.
Do you provide a guarantee?
Yes, a written workmanship guarantee on every commercial install, alongside the manufacturer cover on mesh, palisade and gate automation.
Can you hit a fixed programme date?
We quote a programme with the spec and hold it. Groundworks are the variable, so where ground conditions or buried services are unknown we survey first rather than promise a date we cannot keep.
